Fireworks Season!

It’s upon us again already. As pet parents, many of us dread this time of year. Especially if you’re a dog parent. This little Charlie Brown and Snoopy meme has been going around social media like wildfire. I love it. Have shared it on my personal page and our S and N Project page.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was giving up personal fireworks for the 4th of July and going to community fireworks displays! Those thinks are incredible and fun for the whole family. And free! Save that money and donate to a spay and neuter project, a rescue or a shelter. Plus…all of your sound PTSD and dog parent neighbors will like you more! It’s a win/win! I you must do fireworks, get some sparklers, fountains or other items that don’t terrorize local wildlife and your regional pets and vets!

Ultimately, it’s a free country, you’re gonna do whatever you want to do, but it doesn’t hurt to consider others we live alongside. Caring for the needs of our fellow American humans and four legged ones is one of the more patriotic moves we can make.
